We are designed to be balanced and symmetrical, but at times we get out of balance due to the challenges and stress of life. All of our experiences are literally held in our tissues and muscles. Injuries, both old and new, create patterns of tension, guarding, and loss of range of motion. Initially these reactions after an injury serve to protect us, but if brushed aside they often lead to chronic stiffness and tension. Massage can help break up these patterns and allow us to be loose and flexible which benefits our health and happiness. We strive for balance in our bodies and our lives, and massage is a great way to promote the flexibility we strive for.

Jennifer Kantzer graduated from the Cayce-Reilly School of Massotherapy in Virginia Beach, VA, April of 2000. Her training included Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Reflexology, Hydrotherapy, Sports Massage and Pre-natal Massage. Along with the technical skills and knowledge, there was also an emphasis on developing an awareness that the mind, body, and spirit are connected and influence each other. Jennifer prides herself in the gentle way she works with a client to maneuver through layers, taking physical cues from the muscles to be able to get effective and deep results. She views it as the therapist's role to impart knowledge and advice to the client to promote wellness and self-empowerment on their healing path.

In September of 2001 Jennifer moved to Breckenridge, CO to live in the beauty of the Rocky Mountains and practice massage. It was there where she met Shawn, and they moved to Seattle in 2004 to be closer to family while raising their son. She has had her practice in Rainier Beach since 2006.

Additional Certification { Usui Reiki level I } { Upledger CranioSacral level I } { Oncology Massage Therapy }
